Its intuitive driving position, compact steering wheel, 10” HD^ capacitive colour touchscreen, and configurable 3D head-up instrument panel^ provide an immersive driving experience. Fitted with smart technology like TomTom® Traffic^^, Mirror Screen® connectivity and a smartphone charging plate^, it also boasts PEUGEOT Open and Go* keyless entry meaning the 2008 SUV can be opened without removing the key from your bag or pocket… simply grab the handle and the car will unlock. And, should you forget to lock the car on departure, the system will automatically lock and confirm with an audible signal.
With e-2008 SUV you can customise each journey by selecting your preferred driving mode (Sport, Normal or Eco) and enjoy optimum independence with regenerative braking and detailed real-time information on powertrain operation.

The PEUGEOT e-2008 compact SUV comes with a 100kW (136bhp) electric motor with torque of 260Nm.
In the combustion version, there’s a range of powerful and fuel efficient powertrains, equipped with Stop&Start functionality: BlueHDi diesel or PureTech petrol, offering up to 155bhp for that extra sporty drive. And, for even greater flexibility and responsiveness, opt for the EAT8* 8-speed automatic gearbox with its Quickshift^ technology.

Full Electric
The all-new PEUGEOT e-2008 SUV offers a lively and stimulating drive thanks to its full electric motor. You benefit from immediate reactivity with 260Nm of torque from 0mph. The silent engine offers a serene* drive without vibration.
*Take care when driving as other road users may not be accustomed to electric vehicles. All-new PEUGEOT e-2008 SUV is fitted with an acoustic vehicle alerting system operating at speeds up to 18 mph.

AUTOMATIC GEARBOX
Linked to the Efficient 8-Speed Automatic Transmission (EAT8) with Quickshift Technology. This stylish gearbox control with its ergonomic design complements the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®.
Trimmed with full-grain leather, satin chrome and piano black materials, this compact gearbox control even helps to free up space within the cabin.
Operation is intuitive and smooth, and for the more exuberant driver a manual driving mode is also available with changes performed seamlessly via the steering column mounted paddles.

ACTIVE SAFETY BRAKE
An intelligent autonomous braking system designed to avoid a collision or limit its severity by reducing the vehicle’s speed – standard across the 2008 SUV range . The system is triggered if the driver does not react quickly enough, by activating the vehicle’s brakes. Using a bumper mounted radar and multifunction camera located at the top of the windscreen able to detect obstructions on the road. The system works in the following ways, both day and night:
PARK ASSIST
In addition to the rear parking sensors which are standard across the range, the PEUGEOT 2008 SUV features the following driving assistance:
Visio Park 1 (Standard from GT Line)
In addition to front and rear sensors, the rear camera offers a variety of views including rear ‘Grid’ view, ‘180°’ view, useful for reversing out of spaces and an ‘Overhead’ view making it easier when reversing near obstacles.
Full Park Assist (Optional from GT Line)
In addition to Visio Park 1, this pack includes fully automated parking assistance, taking care of steering, acceleration and gearbox functions for parallel and bay parking scenarios. Available late 2020.
LANE KEEPING TECHNOLOGIES
Via a windscreen mounted camera PEUGEOT 2008 SUV offers the following lane keeping technologies:
Active Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA) + Road Edge Detection (standard on all versions) a system that monitors longitudinal lane markings on the ground. If a deviation is detected across a lane marking, you are alerted by a flashing indicator on the digital instrument panel in the cabin. In addition as soon as the system identifies a risk of accidentally crossing one of the marking lines detected on the ground, the steering is gradually corrected to keep the vehicle in lane, at speeds of over 40mph. For further peace of mind, road edge detection is also included to reduce the likelihood of the vehicle leaving the road in an accident.
Lane Positioning Assist (optional from Allure, standard on GT) linked to Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go function. This intelligent system positions the car centrally with the middle of a lane, applying left and right trajectory corrections accordingly.
ACTIVE BLIND SPOT DETECTION (ABSD)*
Using lateral ultrasound sensors to cover areas out of your field of vision along with the windscreen mounted camera, an LED illuminates in either side door mirror to alert to the presence of a car, lorry, motorbike or bicycle in your blind spot. The system
works when overtaking a slower vehicle or when overtaken by a faster vehicle. In addition ABSD also features a trajectory correction system in partnership with Active Lane Keeping Assistance. The trajectory correction is applied to the steering if a line is crossed even when the turn indicator is enabled, to try and avoid a collision with an obstacle not detected by the driver.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH STOP & GO*
Cruise control as you know it, will never be the same again with PEUGEOT 2008 SUV. Controlled via a radar mounted at the front of the vehicle, the ACC Stop and Go system provides two key functions:

ADVANCED GRIP CONTROL®
Tackle a variety of weather and terrains with Advanced Grip Control®*, a system designed to optimise traction in low-grip conditions by selected one of the three modes : sand, mud or snow. It adapts to the terrain by acting on the front wheels, in doing so this saves the weight normally associated with a more conventional four wheel drive system.
You can also control your speed on steep slopes with Hill Assist Descent Control.
